I am a proud and active community member in the City of Costa Mesa. I am running for a leadership position on the Costa Mesa City Council because I believe in responsible government and want to do my part to support our businesses, our schools, and our families.
I am not a politician and have no intention of using the City Council as a stepping stone to a higher elected office. I am interested in being a voice for the community. I believe in order for a local governing body to be effective, they should be made up of a variety of people that represent the community. Costa Mesa is a beautifully diverse community made up of people of many races, religions, backgrounds, and beliefs and I think it is appropriate that City Council be reflective of that. I also appreciate the value of giving back to the community and its citizens which is why I want so much to have that opportunity.
I want to hear your ideas, suggestions, and complaints. I want to know what you love about this wonderful city of ours and also hear what you would like to see changed or improved. I will actively listen to your concerns and speak on your behalf.
I believe that respect should be given and trust must be earned and would like the opportunity to earn yours. If you have a question for me, please ask.
